YM Property Awards 2023
Nexus Claims Award for Best Large New Home Development at YM Property & Business Awards 2023
It was a night of great success for Nexus Residential and its partners at YM Liverpool’s 2023 Property and Business Awards.
Nexus was nominated in two categories for its excellent work in real estate development across the North West over the past year. Property Developer of the Year and Best Large New Home Development were the esteemed awards that Nexus was up for due to the company's pioneering work on several notable projects.
Close partner Legacie Developments claimed the award for Developer of the Year. At the same time, Nexus was rewarded for its work on Element - The Quarter, winning Best Large New Home Development for Liverpool’s very first eco-inspired residence.
Situated in the Liverpool Knowledge Quarter, a short walk from the new £1 billion Royal Hospital Building, Element - The Quarter is one of the latest additions to Nexus Residential’s expanding portfolio.
It was previously a failed site before being taken over by Nexus Residential and, in partnership with Legacie Contracts, was subsequently transformed into one of the most impressive new-build developments in Liverpool.
This cutting-edge development comprises well over 400 high-spec apartments suitable for students and longer-term residents. Each unit comes fitted with premium apartment features, including high-quality flooring, expansive windows and sleek integrated kitchens, which are designed to cater for the needs of a diverse and expanding tenant demographic.
However, the range of energy-efficient technologies that Element - The Quarter is powered by truly sets this award-winning development apart. Sustainable solutions to real estate development have become a Nexus Residential trademark, and nowhere is this more visible than in the now-completed and tenanted Element - The Quarter.
Among the features that power and reduce its carbon footprint are an air source heat pump, a rainwater recycling system, energy-efficient LED lighting and a mechanical ventilation heat recovery system.
In addition to ensuring the energy efficiency of the development, these contemporary technologies create an eco-friendly living environment for residents and serve to reduce service charges for property owners.
Of course, this is not the first occasion on which Nexus Residential has been awarded for its work on Element - The Quarter and similarly successful projects. The same development was awarded Sustainable Residential Development of the Year at the 2022 UK Property Awards, while Nexus Residential was awarded Emerging Property Developer of the Year at the Property and Business Awards.
On the back of this success, Nexus Residential is as determined as ever to continue delivering high-quality projects like Element - The Quarter, which create exceptional living environments using eco-friendly technologies and construction practices.
It’s worth noting that Element - The Quarter is the first of a series of planned eco-developments to be rolled out across some of the UK’s most popular cities and residential areas.
Nexus also has several exciting projects under construction, including One Baltic Square and Central Park in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle District.
So, it’s worth keeping an eye on the progress of these developments and additional projects that Nexus Residential has in the pipeline for this coming year!
